After the v2021 crowdfunding success for Salome-Meca Windows, we are pleased to launch a new raise for the 2023 version; several partners are already participating:

Program

1- Salome-Meca v2023 platform

The objective is to update from Salome 9.7 (v2021) to Salome 9.10 (v2023)

• Fix some known issues in CEA binary package for AsterStudy
• Rebase AsterStudy windows-compat branch to SM2023
• Integrate new versions 15.9 and 16.5
• Add of dark theme
• Check everything is working smoothly

Modifications in AsterStudy module will be integrated in dedicated branch on asterstudy gitlab, as for v2021 versions.
Modifications in Salome modules will, as usual, be integrated in official Salome platform sources.

2- Code_Aster solver v15.9 and v16.5

The objective is to update code_aster solver to the last stable (16.5) and oldstable (v15.9) versions :

• rebase v15.4 → v15.9
• rebase v16.0 → v16.5
• integrates some fixes concerning regression in v15.4 (comparing to v14.8) on Windows
• Test report to make v16.5 version QA

Modifications in Code_Aster sources (work in progress) is being, for the first time since 2017, integrated in official repository!

NOTE: The program is focused on the needs of partners. They benefit from:

• An optimized version of solver
• MPI parallelism
• Optional modules on demand (Miss3d, Homard, etc.)
• Support in case of regression
• corrective updates
